RateYourMusicのユーザレビューからみる年別のトップ50。1969年も調べてみた。
1969年といえばアポロ11号の月着陸がありWoodstockがありオルタモントの悲劇で終わった世界でも日本でも激動の年だ。
そして1969年のリストを眺めるとやはりこの年は世界が曲がり角に来ていたのだなぁと思えてくる。
そのリストが以下になる。
リリース年月日は本国でのもの、またクラシックとサントラは除いてある。
1位がクリムゾンで2位がアビーロード。昔はクリムゾンの1stは「あのアビーロードを蹴落として全英1位になった」と紹介されていたが今ではそれは単なる宣伝文句(つまりフェイク)だということになっている。
その2枚のアルバムが1位と2位である。
あとジャズのアルバムが多いのはこの頃まではジャズの方がサウンド的には先端だったのだろう。その後フュージョンとかクロスオーバーとかが流行ってジャズは消費され低迷していくのだが。
それにしても、50年経って古臭くなっているかというとそうでもなくて、みんな普通に聴けるのというのもすごい。
ビーフハートのTrout Mask ReplicaとかMoondogとか当時はなんじゃこれという人が多かったはずだが、2021年になってみればこの程度のアバンギャルドは普通でしょ？
